There are no side effects or extended downtime associated with our IPL & BBL treatments.
For all IPL & BBL treatments, we suggest using the BIO Hydra Infusion post-treatment, which works to hydrate and heal the skin after your treatment.
Our specialists will provide a detailed aftercare plan tailored to your needs. Generally speaking though, we recommend avoiding direct sun exposure and using a hydrating recovery serum & high-SPF sunscreen.

To adequately prepare your skin for your IPL & BBL treatments, you may be required to apply topical nutrients to your skin as advised by our skin specialist and stay out of direct sunlight for 1-2 weeks before & after your treatment.
It is also recommended to apply 30+ sunscreen daily, even when not in direct sunlight.

Side effects are generally minimal and temporary, such as redness, swelling, or mild sensitivity. Our experienced team ensures the highest safety standards and will discuss any potential down time effects, if any, with you during your consultation.

Recovery time varies depending on each person.
Generally, it is minimal downtime, where your skin will be slightly flushed for approximately 24 hours post-treatment. Then roughly day 2-3 your skin may start to show darkened pigmentation on the surface if pigmentation is present on the skin. This darkened pigmentation will naturally exfoliate off within 7-14 days. Do not prematurely pick this.
