During your New Client First Step, we look at where and how you are breaking out, the type of congestion present and how well your skin barrier is functioning.
We review your current products, previous treatments and any health, medication or lifestyle factors that may be relevant. We also use diagnostic imaging to look beyond what is visible on the surface.
Your first treatment is selected according to what your skin can comfortably manage on the day. We then explain the treatment and homecare priorities that may support clearer and more balanced looking skin.

Before you book
Can you guarantee that my acne will clear?
No. Acne is complex and may be influenced by factors outside the treatment room. We can assess your skin, provide cosmetic treatments and homecare guidance and adjust your plan according to how your skin responds. Medical support may also be recommended.
Will you perform extractions at my first appointment?
Only if your therapist decides they are suitable and beneficial. We will not automatically perform aggressive extractions if your skin is inflamed, sensitised or needs a different starting approach.
Can you treat acne scarring while I still have active acne?
These concerns may need to be treated separately. Active inflammation and breakouts often need to be managed before stronger treatments for textural scarring are considered.
What if I am taking prescription acne medication?
Tell us when booking and bring the details to your appointment. Some medications affect which treatments are suitable. We may adapt your treatment or request medical clearance.
Is this appointment suitable for teenage acne?
Suitability depends on the client's age, skin and circumstances. A parent or guardian may need to attend. Please contact the clinic before booking so we can advise you.
What exactly is included in the $169 appointment?
Your New Client First Step includes a complete Skin Assessment and Consultation, one personalised Level 1 treatment and one LED session. Booked separately, these are valued at $349.
Do I have to purchase products or continue with a program?
No. Your therapist will explain what she recommends and why, but there is no obligation to purchase products or continue into a program.
Can I use the $169 toward the Correct Program?
Yes. If you decide to continue with the Correct Program, the $169 paid for your New Client First Step is credited toward the program investment.
Can I book the New Client First Step more than once?
No. The $169 New Client First Step is an introductory experience available once per client.
